Privacy Policy
Kitchen Tool Hub (“we”, “this site”) respects your privacy. This policy describes what information kitchen-toolhub.com collects, why, and what rights you have. It covers the site as launched: an informational food website with articles, a free recipe-scaling tool, and a contact form. It will be updated if/when we add services such as a newsletter, analytics, or advertising.
Information we collect
Contact form. If you message us, we receive the name, email address, and message content you provide, so we can read and reply to your message. We keep messages only as long as needed to handle your request, then delete them on request.
Recipe Scaler tool. The Recipe Scaler & Ingredient Calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your servings, ingredients, and quantities are never sent to our servers, stored, or shared.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operational purposes.
What we do NOT collect at launch
- No user accounts or registration.
- No newsletter or email list.
- No analytics or advertising trackers.
Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies required for the site to function: WordPress core cookies (only if you use interactive site features) and LiteSpeed Cache technical cookies so pages load faster. We do not set advertising, cross-site tracking, or profiling cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to control cookies in your browser.
How we use information
- To respond to your messages.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
Data retention
Contact messages are kept only as long as necessary to handle your request. Server logs are retained per our hosting provider’s standard policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact Us page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
